POLICY:
A member school may, at any time, withdraw from the
Eastern Schools for the Deaf Athletic Association.

PROCEDURE:

1. Submit a written statement to the President indicating your desire to withdraw. The President will notify all action members.

2. When possible, the school should have a representative attend the next regularly scheduled Athletic Director’s meeting to discuss the reasons for this action.

3. Requests will be accepted when no workable solution can be found.

ASSOCIATION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Member schools will determine if any alternatives do exist which could be beneficial to both the Association and the school in question without withdrawing from the Association.

2. If at all possible, withdrawal should occur at the end of the school year after all obligations have been met.

3. President will write a follow-up letter to the Superintendent of the school in question summarizing the details of the meeting and the actions taken.
